Music

In the meantime, you may visit my blogs, Facebook and Twitter pages for occasional updates and announcements regarding my performances, recordings, and forthcoming CDs.

In brief, I’ve begun the slow process of recording a companion CD to my novel The Expatriates’ Guide to Heartbreak. It’s mostly rock music, with some folk and French lounge songs thrown in. All the songs are based on characters, chapters and lines from the novel.

I am also a kirtan walli and have led kirtans throughout the Northeast. I sing chants from the Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, Sufi and Native American traditions, and I continue to study vocals, mantra, chanting, and sacred sound with masters from many traditions.

I will be recording my first kirtan CD in Spring 2013, and am blessed to be working with producer Gaura Vani of Avatar Studios.
